# Password Errors
## Users who have issues with Passwords have a couple different things to check in order to resolve, use the guide below to determine what path is needed.
PLACE tool password and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues — including login failures for **Our Place**, **Place Academy**, and the **Brivity Go App** — are resolved by resetting the **Brivity CRM** password, which serves as the SSO credential for all connected tools. An administrator can send a password reset link or create a temporary password from the user's account in the administrator portal.
## How do you troubleshoot PLACE tool passwords and Single Sign-On (SSO)?
### How do you resolve Brivity password issues?
Brivity credentials serve as the primary login for all PLACE tools that use Single Sign-On (SSO), including **Our Place**, **Place Academy**, and the **Brivity Go App**.
- If a user cannot log in, an administrator can create a temporary password or send a password reset link directly to the user's registered email address from the user's account in the administrator portal.
### How do you fix Our Place SSO login issues?
The **Our Place** login is directly tied to the main **Brivity CRM** password via Single Sign-On (SSO). The same steps below also apply to **Place Academy** and the **Brivity Go App**, as all three tools share the same SSO credential. If a user cannot log in, follow these troubleshooting steps in order:
1. **Verify the Brivity password:** Log completely out of **Brivity CRM** and log back in to ensure the password is functional.
2. **Check password managers:** Ensure the password manager is updated with the most recent Brivity credentials.
3. **Send a global reset link:** If login still fails after the steps above, log in to the PLACE administrator portal, locate the user's account by searching for their name or registered email address, open their profile, and select the option to send a global password reset link to the user's registered email address. **Important:** This link requires user confirmation before sending, as it will simultaneously reset the password for **Brivity CRM**, **Our Place**, **Place Academy**, and the **Brivity Go App**. Make sure the user is aware of and prepared for this change before proceeding.
### How do you manage password changes across apps?
Any password change to a Brivity account immediately affects all connected applications. After a password change, ensure the user updates their saved credentials in any password manager for each of the following apps:
- **Brivity CRM**
- **Our Place**
- Place Academy
- Brivity Go App
