# How to fix a 403 error when accessing Our PLACE or PLACE Academy

## Confirm that you’re using your Brivity credentials and launch the tool from Brivity’s App Launcher.

### Troubleshooting steps

1. Sign in to Brivity using your **Brivity credentials**. If you are already signed in, sign out and sign back in to refresh your session.
2. From any screen in Brivity, open the **App Launcher** icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select **Our PLACE** or **PLACE Academy** from the App Launcher menu. Confirm the page loads successfully. If the 403 error appears again, note which tool triggered it and proceed to the support step below.

- The email address associated with your account
- The specific tool you are trying to access (**Our PLACE** or **PLACE Academy**)
