# What are the travel and hotel guidelines for the 2026 Production Contest?
## Hotel, airfare, and attendance guidelines for the December 2026 Production Contest at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park.
The Production Contest takes place in **December 2026** at the **Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park** in Atlanta, GA. What PLACE covers depends on your role and whether you are a contest winner. This article covers hotel, airfare, early arrivals, and attendance expectations.
### How to Book Your Hotel Room
Attendees who RSVP'd and selected Yes for needing a hotel room receive an email titled "Book Your Room | December 2026 Winners Event - Atlanta, Georgia" with the hotel booking link. If you selected Yes and haven't received it, check your spam folder. Still don't see it? Just let us know and we'll resend it.
- **Room block dates:** Check in Monday, November 30 and check out Thursday, December 3. Rooms are available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
- **Monday night:** Operators attending the Tuesday Operator Mastermind may book Monday night if needed for travel. Operations Leaders attending the Ops Leader Mastermind may also book Monday night.
- **How to book:** Open the booking link in the email. Select your check-in date and number of adults, then click Find Dates. Choose your arrival and departure dates on the calendar. Select Deluxe Room, choose 1 King or 2 Doubles under Bed Types, then click View Rates. Enter your contact and payment details and click Confirm Booking.
- **Payment:** A card is required to secure the reservation, but it will not be charged. Covered hotel costs (nightly rates, taxes and fees) are applied directly to the PLACE bill.
- **Cancellation:** Cancel by 12:00 pm on 11/27/26 to avoid a $229.45 penalty.
- **Sharing with a roommate:** Only one guest name can be added when booking online. To add a roommate, call the hotel at (404) 659-0000 with the additional guest's contact details.
- **Extensions:** PLACE does not cover hotel nights beyond Wednesday. Any additional nights are the attendee's responsibility.
- **Questions:** Reply to the hotel booking email or contact Events@place.com.
### Hotel
#### Winning Operators & Agents
- Winners receive up to two hotel nights as a winner benefit.
- When two winners share a room, PLACE pays the full room cost for up to two nights.
- If a winner stays alone, PLACE pays 50% of the room cost for up to two nights.
- Operators may room alone. Agents should ideally share rooms.
- If a winning Operator travels a day early for the Tuesday Operator Mastermind, PLACE pays for the additional night.
- Additional nights outside the approved event stay are the attendee's responsibility.
#### Non-Winning Operators
- Non-winning Operators are responsible for their hotel room cost.
- The hotel expense may still qualify as a shared expense with PLACE under the normal shared-expense policy.
- You may stay at a less expensive hotel if you prefer.
- If you travel a day early for the Tuesday Operator Mastermind, the additional night is considered a shared expense.
#### Operations Leaders
- Winning Operations Leaders receive up to two hotel nights paid by PLACE, regardless of single or double occupancy.
- If an Operations Leader travels a day early for the half-day Ops Leader Mastermind, PLACE pays for the additional night.
- Additional nights outside the approved event stay are the attendee's responsibility.
**W2 Employees**
- W2 employees are not required to share a hotel room.
- Flights, meals, transportation and similar travel costs are reimbursable. This applies only to W2 employees.
### Airfare & Transportation
- **Operators:** Operator travel is a shared expense with PLACE, following normal travel guidelines. First-class upgrades, alcohol, and other non-approved expenses are excluded.
- **Operations Leaders:** Paid by PLACE, following PLACE travel guidelines and policy.
- **Agents:** Agents are responsible for their own travel costs. If an Operator chooses to pay an Agent's travel, that cost is not a shared expense with PLACE.
### Early Arrivals, Extended Stays & Incidentals
- **Winning Operator arriving early for the Operator Mastermind:** Covered under the winner hotel benefit.
- **Non-winning Operator arriving early for the Operator Mastermind:** May be treated as a shared expense.
- **Extended personal stays:** Not paid by PLACE.
- **Hotel incidentals:** Always the attendee's responsibility.
- **Personal upgrades:** Always the attendee's responsibility.
**Note:** Shared expenses must be submitted within the standard 30-day window.
### Frequently Asked Questions
**I'm not a winner. Can I stay at a cheaper hotel?**
Yes. A non-winning Operator may choose alternative accommodations. If the expense otherwise qualifies as shared, standard shared-expense rules still apply.
**Can an Operator stay alone?**
Yes. Depending on their winning status, they may be responsible for a portion of the room cost. See the Hotel section above.
**Should Agents share rooms?**
Ideally, yes.
### Attendance Expectations
Operators are expected to attend **both the Operator Mastermind and the Winners Event**. Please plan your travel to include both.
